Youth Music Education Fund – Our Mission

The South Coast Clambake Music Festival is dedicated to bringing music to the youth of our area. During festival week, this effort is accomplished by bringing live music to many of the elementary and junior high schools in Coos County. The performances by one of our festival bands has made it possible for more than 4500 students to be educated and entertained through music.

High school bands from the entire county are invited to perform at the festival venue on Friday morning. This public performance allows the bands to learn from each other and to perform before a live audience. Lunch is then served to all the band members, giving the young musicians an opportunity to interact with one another. A monetary contribution from the Clambake Music Festival is made to each participating school.
