Five educators walk into a doctor’s office……what do you get? The Throttles! What started in 2020 as a way to blow-off some COVID steam, became a fun-loving band of friends who enjoy sharing their wide-ranging tastes of music with each other, and the community. From country to blues, Indigo Girls to Bob Dylan, nothing is out of bounds for this group. To quote an anonymous famous artist who once saw a Throttles performance, “Wow, these guys are eclectic!”.

Band members Amber Yester, Bill Berrian, Blake Kemp, Tim Dailey, Phil LaGesse, and Ken Graber embody the statement that music is far too important to be left in the hands of professionals. We prove that every time we step on stage. We are honored and excited to be a part of this wonderful music festival, and look forward to the positive energy the audiences bring to this event.
